Royal Baby Alpaca is lighter, warmer and softer than Cashmere. Where Baby Alpaca is the name given to the first years shear when the fibre is at its finest, Royal Baby Alpaca is the supreme of this shear and must be less than 19 microns. It is of course the finest grade of alpaca fibre and Royal Baby Alpaca represents just 1% of all alpaca fibre produced in the world.
Weaves and knitted products created from Royal Baby Alpaca are featherweight and incredibly soft and extremely rare. Esgyrn is one of the select few to make this product available.
