In 1980, Esgyrn’s journey as a luxury fibre producer began. We acquired our first Guanaco from around Europe and welcomed them to our organic farm in West Wales. Some 26 years later after an exhaustive and thorough fibre research programme and with exacting breeding standards we evolved into meeting the demand of the luxury fibre mills; building relationships with renowned yarn spinners and fabric makers from Yorkshire in the United Kingdom and Biella in Northern Italy.

Esgyrn is now using that hard earned expertise and evolving further, offering fine fibre garments produced in the specialist luxury mills of Yorkshire from our Guanaco and by carefully selecting the finest mills in South America, we have imported the very highest quality products hand picked from an extensive range from their camelid cousins in South America. Our luxury fibre business now offers the same attention to detail as is required to meet the exacting standards of the World’s luxury fibre mills. We apply the same ethos by providing you with a hand picked selection of scarves, wraps, shawls and throws from the Vicuna, Guanaco, Alpaca and Llama.
